Machinists ratify new agreement with SKF

Toronto, ON – Members of IAM Local Lodge 901 have ratified a new collective agreement with SKF Canada.
The three year agreement provides wage increases of $ .50 per hour in each year of the agreement. Other agreement highlights include:
- A $2 an hour increase to the defined benefit pension plan in the first year of the agreement.
- Increased benefits
- Increased boot allowance
- Health care spending account increase increased from $300 to $450 which can be put toward topping up of any benefit the employee chooses
The 19 members work in the SKF Warehouse logistics facility in Scarborough.
