IAM ratify new agreement with Waterloo Manufacturing

Waterloo, ON – Local Lodge 2707 members at Waterloo Manufacturing recently ratified a new Collective Agreement late last week.
IAM Grand Lodge Representative Derek Ferguson explained, “Committee member Bill Doerbecker was very effective in advocating for the interests of the membership. The membership’s strong support of the committee was crucial in achieving the gains made during this difficult round of bargaining.”
Highlights of the new contract include annual wage increases, improved overtime premiums, increases in standby pay, vision care benefits, safety shoe allowance, life insurance and the accidental death and dismemberment payments.
The new contract takes effect retroactively as of 1 February, 2023.
The eleven members provide boiler room solutions for commercial and industrial applications across Ontario.
