Machinists sign extension with SKF Bearings!

Toronto, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 901 have signed a one year extension to their collective agreement with SKF Bearings Canada.
“In these economic times, a one year extension was something the membership could live with,” said IAMAW District 78 Business Representative Paul Mitchell. The one year extension provides members with a $750.00 signing bonus. The agreement was ratified by a 100 per cent margin. The 23 members provide warehousing services at the facility in east-end Toronto.
Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 235 have ratified a new three-year agreement with ACME Lock and Access Control. The agreement provides for a wage increase of 2 per cent in each year. The locksmiths maintain and install lock and entry systems throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
