Machinists Ratify New Deal with Brown Brothers Ford!

Vancouver, BC – Members of IAM Local Lodge 1857 have ratified a new three-year collective agreement with Brown Brothers Ford Sales and Service.
The agreement provides wage increases of 2 per cent in each year of the agreement. Other agreement highlights include better grievance procedure language and the addition of Family Day to the statutory holiday package.
The sixty members include mechanics, service writers, parts department personnel and lot staff employed at the Main Street dealership and the fleet servicing and high performance Sherbrooke Division.
The IAM represents workers at more than 15 dealerships in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
