It’s a 100% support for new contract by AC CUPE Component!
Members of IAM Local Lodge 2323, working as executive assistants at CUPE Air Canada (AC) Component have voted 100% in favour of accepting a new three-year contract offer. The new contract made wage gains of 3% per year and increases to expense allowances.
“The bargaining committee worked hard to come to a fair deal during the normal bargaining process. Ultimately, it took the assistance of a conciliator to reach an agreement and the membership supported the gains we were able to achieve.” Said Dan Janssen, General Chairperson for IAM District 140.
The IAMAW members working at CUPE AC Component provide administrative assistance to the CUPE Executive Board members representing Air Canada’s flight attendants.
