IAM Welcomes Fort Garry Brewing Workers
For nearly a century, Fort Garry Brewing has been a name familiar to Winnipeg. Behind every brew is a team of skilled workers including brew masters, trades, production, warehouse, and maintenance whose dedication keeps the brewery thriving.
These workers, the backbone of Fort Garry Brewing, have now joined together with the IAM Union. By uniting, they gain a stronger collective voice to secure fair treatment, safer workplaces, and respect for the work they do every day.
This step continues Winnipeg’s long tradition of solidarity, from the 1919 General Strike to today. Fort Garry Brewing workers are carrying that legacy forward, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.
We are proud to welcome the Fort Garry Brewing team into the IAM family. Their skills have built a legacy in Manitoba, and now, as IAM members, they are building a stronger future together.
