IAM District 11 at the National Education Fair
IAM District 11 was present this week at the National Education Fair, held at the Palais des congrès in Montréal.
Our team: Éric Gagné, Ron Trottier, and Martin Vanier, met with hundreds of students eager to learn about the many career paths and opportunities for union involvement.
Throughout the event, our representatives took the time to engage with young people about the vital role unions play in protecting workers’ rights, promoting fair working conditions, and ensuring safe and equitable workplaces.
The fair was also a great opportunity to raise awareness among the new generation about the importance of solidarity, social justice, and collective representation in the work world.
IAM District 11 is proud to have taken part in this inspiring event and to see the growing interest of young people in union values. Together, we are building the future of work; a future that is fairer, stronger, and more united.
