Local 692 Hosts First Annual Car Show in Support of GDA|TLC Canada
Local 692 held its first annual car show to raise funds for the Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines Canada (GDA/TLC). The event proved to be a great success, attracting an impressive 108 cars and raising $10,000 in support of the cause.
Local 692 President Pete Konrad and Secretary-Treasurer Stacey Adams organized the event with strong support from volunteers at Local 692 and Finning, whose commitment and teamwork ensured its success.
A special thank you goes out to Finning for generously allowing the use of their facility to host the show. The event also featured great music provided by Local 692 member RJ De Torres, who volunteered his time and talent to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day.
The strong turnout and community spirit made this first edition a memorable one. With such positive results, Local 692 looks forward to making this an annual tradition, bringing car enthusiasts and supporters together for a good cause year after year.
