L&rsquo;AIMTA est un intervenant dans le processus de consultation du Programme du travail et nous avons d\u00e9pos\u00e9 des m\u00e9moires faisant ressortir notre position sur les changements propos\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement a introduit de nouveaux types de cong\u00e9s, comme le cong\u00e9 pour violence domestique et le cong\u00e9 pour obligation familiale, ainsi que des modifications au cong\u00e9 parental. L&rsquo;AIMTA esp\u00e9rait des am\u00e9liorations importantes au <em>Code<\/em> et la mise en place d\u2019un code du travail f\u00e9d\u00e9ral v\u00e9ritablement modernis\u00e9. Malheureusement, le gouvernement lib\u00e9ral a rat\u00e9 une occasion d&rsquo;optimiser les conditions de travail des employ\u00e9s du secteur f\u00e9d\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n<p>Un certain nombre d&#8217;employeurs ont demand\u00e9 des exemptions \u00e0 certaines dispositions, ce qui a laiss\u00e9 de nombreuses questions sans r\u00e9ponse. Il semble que les employeurs puissent choisir les nouvelles dispositions \u00e0 suivre et celles \u00e0 ignorer. C\u2019est extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9occupant et nous attendons des \u00e9claircissements \u00e0 ce sujet. Notre syndicat surveille les choses de pr\u00e8s et participe \u00e0 d\u2019autres discussions.
