Cette rencontre avait pour but de discuter de moyens \u00e0 prendre pour coordonner les structures et les strat\u00e9gies dans l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat des membres \u00e0 l\u2019emploi de HBMS.<br \/>\nL\u2019ensemble des syndicats reconnaissent la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour les syndicats et les sections locales de travailler ensemble afin de pr\u00e9senter un front commun \u00e0 l\u2019employeur plus tard cette ann\u00e9e et, surtout, en pr\u00e9paration des n\u00e9gociations qui seront entam\u00e9es d\u2019ici quelques ann\u00e9es pour une nouvelle convention collective.<br \/>\nComme le savent les membres de tous les syndicats, lorsque les employeurs r\u00e9ussissent \u00e0 semer la division au sein de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, ils peuvent ensuite freiner la croissance des salaires et des avantages sociaux et \u00e9liminer d\u2019autres importants droits. HBMS ne fait pas exception et voudrait certainement voir ses syndicats divis\u00e9s ou distraits par des conflits intersyndicaux.<br \/>\nLors de leur rencontre, tous les syndicats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019avis que le meilleur plan d\u2019action est de mettre en place un conseil des syndicats \u00e0 HBMS, lequel assurera la structure n\u00e9cessaire pour pr\u00e9senter un front commun \u00e0 la table de n\u00e9gociation tout en pr\u00e9servant l\u2019autonomie de chaque syndicat affili\u00e9 dans sa repr\u00e9sentation quotidienne des membres.
