A determined campaign wins 185 new members for IAM Local 922

Thetford Mines, QC – The 185 workers at Rad Technologies Inc. have decided to join the IAM, becoming the newest members of IAM Local 922/District 11.
District 11 organizer Éric Gagné started the campaign in February 2019 and, with great determination, developed a highly motivated internal committee. After only a few meetings, the workers responded overwhelmingly and joined the IAM.
Dave Chartrand, IAM Quebec Co-ordinator, who oversees organising activities in Quebec, thanked the entire organising team, “These dedicated IAM organisers continue to sign up new members by illustrating the benefits of being united and having common goals.”
Pierre Grenier, Directing Business Representative of IAM District 11, further added,” with the many successes we’ve had signing members to the IAM across the country, and with these new members who immediately saw the benefit of joining our great union, success was not far away,” he said.
Rad Technologies Inc. is a manufacturing company that produces snow equipment for heavy machinery.
