IAM VP nominated for NDP in Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte
Barrie, ON – IAM Local Lodge 2323 Vice President Dan Janssen has been nominated as the NDP candidate in the upcoming June 7th provincial election in the new riding of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte. This is Janssen’s first venture into politics. He has been a strong activist within the IAM for the $15 and Fairness campaign as well as a strong advocate for Worker’s Rights for our union and all workers at Toronto International Airport. .
