Local Lodge 2332 members sign new agreement at Prouse Chevrolet

Sault Ste. Marie, ON – The members of IAM Local 2332 working at Prouse Chevrolet recently ratified a new collective agreement. The two-year agreement provides for annual wage increases, increased premiums and incentives, as well as improvements to vision care and safety footwear. Grand Lodge Representative Scott Jackson, noted that negotiations committee member, Chad Laroue, “kept the issues of the membership front and center throughout the process”.
The 23 members include mechanics, detailing personnel and general garage workers. Prouse Chevrolet, Buick, GMC Cadillac is one of five auto dealerships represented by the IAM in the steel city. The IAM represents more than 1500 workers at automotive dealerships in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
