Machinists Ratify New Deal at Univar!

Toronto, ON – Members of IAM Local Lodge 1922 have ratified a new three-year collective agreement with Univar Canada.
The nine members are supervisors at the industrial solvent distributor’s distribution centre in Toronto’s north end.
The agreement provides a $1,000.00 signing bonus and wage increases of 2 per cent in each year.
Other agreement highlights include :
• A 50 cent/hour shift premium for the day shift
• A 75 cent/hour shift premium for the night shift
• Double time for weekends and holidays
• Increased work boot allowance
• Vision Care improvements
• Sick benefits increased
• Long Term Disability premiums now paid by company
