Machinists Weigh in with new Mettler Toledo Agreement

Vancouver, BC – Members of IAM Local Lodge 692 weighed the pros and cons and have ratified a new collective agreement with Mettler Toledo.
The new three-year agreement provides wage increases of 4 per cent in the first year, 2 per cent in the second year and 2 per cent in the third year. Other agreement highlights include :
• Improved Pension contributions
• Family Day added to statutory holidays
• Increased Overtime Meal Allowance
The 12 members provide overhaul, repair and servicing of weight scales and measuring systems for laboratories, industries and retail companies across Canada.
The IAM represents more than 115 technicians at Mettler Toledo outlets in Vancouver, BC, London and Mississauga, Ontario and Montréal, Chicoutimi, Three Rivers, Sept Isles and Rimouski, Quebec.
