NEFAB Signs New Deal with Machinists

Peterborough, ON – Members of IAM Local Lodge 905 have ratified a new collective agreement with Nefab Incorporated.
The three-year agreement provides wage increases of 2 per cent in the first and second year respectively and 2.5 per cent in the third year.
“Winning improvements to vacation pay percentage on earnings was essential to ratifying this agreement,” said IAM Grand Lodge Representative Bill Shipman.
Other agreement highlights include :
• Lead Hand premiums expanded
• Increased Meal Allowance
• Improved Bereavement Leave
The 65 members design and manufacture custom specialty packaging for industry and industrial equipment.
