Westcan Industries Signs agreement with Machinists

Port Coquitlam, BC – Members of IAM Local Lodge 692 have ratified a new collective agreement with Westcan Industries.
The new three-year deal provides wage increases of 2 per cent in each year as well as an increase in employer pension contributions of five cents an hour in each year.
The ten members consist of CNC Technicians and manual machine operators who repair, rebuild and manufacture pumps to OEM specifications for pulp and paper mills, mining operations, power generation plants, water and waste water facilities and chemical plants.
